Blank Canvas is a Christian church in Oak Lawn, Illinois, serving the Chicagoland area. We exist to worship God, obey God, and tell God's story through our lives, our community and our creativity. We believe every person in a canvas and God is the master artist, writing a story of redemption, purpose, and transformation.

Our church is built around worship, prayer, biblical teaching, authentic community, and serving others. We are passionate about helping people grow in their faith and use their gifts to make a difference in the world around them.
We are a multiethnic and multigenerational church in Oak Lawn, Illinois, committed to reflecting the diversity of God’s Kingdom. We believe the Church is most powerful when it looks like the community it serves — and our community is Chicagoland.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Blank Canvas Church, formally known as Hope Chapel of Oak Lawn, we believe that God is the ultimate artist, and we are His masterpiece—created to worship Him and share His story through our God-given gifts. Our mission is to use the arts to tell the story of Jesus, helping each of us grow in our faith while empowering us to communicate that faith to others. Whether through music, visual art, drama, or creative expression, we seek to reflect the beauty of God’s work in our lives and in the world.
